i just hope he has a nice brown stain to get out of his seat, since we were only able to get $140 from him, out of the $300+ worth of damage he caused. i have to pull the tires Thursday to see if there is any damage to the drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, ect.....

Man that sucks!!! So if I go to my home depot here in town and rent something and beat the **** out of it and take it back I don't have to buy it?

depends if their management team has a backbone. plus a little old lady rented it for the contractor to do a job for her. we didn't want to charge her for all the repairs since she would probably never get the money out of him. also, since his name wasn't on the contract, we can't go after him as far as i know.

Wow that's kinda shady... he must have a history with damaging equiptment or else he would've rented it himself... I know that when I do irrigation systems I don't make the home owner go and rent a pipe puller from United Rentals! I'd never return damaged equiptment without a full report and offer to pay for damages...
