Transmission additive.

Hey members I have written this before but before changing out your trans fluid use Trans X I used it on my sisters car it was staying in second or third gear at a stop added this stuff and it left it like brand new meaning it looked brand new on the inside and fixed the trans problem im going to use it on my truck soon it's running fine but I believe in additives.
Be good! GMC

I only use Lucas, I have always used Lucas. My truck is just shy of 300,000 miles (500,000 kilometers), and every oil change, I put Lucas in the crankcase, Diff, and transmission. Unlike other Mazda trucks, Mine does not blow blue smoke, and it doesn't leak oil. I have never done the lifters, or the valve guide seals, and aside from the usual lifter noise in the morning, the engine purrs like a kitten.

I believe in additives, but only the ones proven to work.

YES I agree Lucas is SUPER... but for cleaning it real good at that time Trans X worked good. Yes Lucas has saved me over $2000.00 dollars once.

Becareful with internal cleaning products, they can do more harm than good sometimes.

When I have to do a full rebuild, then I'll run "sea foam" for about a week, and then tear the engine / transmission a part. Sea Foam cleans all the crud out so cleaning and fixing is a heck of alot easier. Sea Foam
