New truck?

a co-worker has an 86 chevy he said he would sell to me for $200. it has a 305 with the 4spd and granny gear. thinking of buying it and turning it in to a mud or plow truck. the solid axle would be too stiff for a daily driver, but it could be a nice project truck.

if it runs, ill buy it from you for 250. for an additional 500, you can throw in your block you have been saving.

get it and keep in reserve, ya never know. solid axles are not that bad its a truck not a car

that's what i was thinking. i haven't seen it yet, but if it's in decent shape, i would love to restore it. i would have to find a place to store it though, the garage is full and there are already 2 cars in the driveway.

Thats why i now own acreage, instead of a building lot...gotta hve room for the toys!

well, the rents didn't blow up when i mentioned there might be another truck in the driveway, so i'll take that as a good sign. hopefully the guy can get me some pics real soon or i take a drive out his way.

stay tuned for updates, next time i post on here you may see it on a trailer heading toward my house.
