Your not reading the GVWR are you? I am talking about actual weight. 8K for your truck seems really excessive. I know crew cab Diesel F-250s that weigh around that.

Well... She certainly feels heavy. I had an 83 Dodge reg cab 2wd that weighed in at just under 7k by itself, and this monster is twice the truck.. I would not doubt it. Not next week, but the week after I have a large run to the dump to make. Once done I will snap a pick of my tare slip and see for sure. I mean if it is much much lighter then that, then I am a little dissapointed with the lack of initial giddiup it has! LMAO... I mean for 280hp or so, it is a dog! LMAO

my truck with the tool box 1/2 loaded, 1/2 tank of fuel (19 gallons) and no passengers, weighed in at 8700 pounds. Was at a race track in oklahoma. I was not in the vehicle either or it would of tipped 9000.... LOL
