Truck Weights

I did a scrap run a few weeks back and with my toolbox loaded, full tank, and 1 passengar (brother) my Silverado weighed in at 7060lbs on the exit scale. That seems pretty heavy to me for a regular cab. Any buddy else ever weight there trucks? Results?

That's about 1400 more than my 94 k1500 5.7 extcab, stock and empty.
What I like is the sticker in my glove box that says " max cargo = 246 lbs".
I better not gain too much weight. All muscle of course.

I can believe it. I just got a tool box for mine, and I would be willing to bet it is loaded with close to 900 lbs of tools by itself, and gas is heavier then people give it credit for. Now I have a larger truck, but I would not be surprised if I weighed it out over 8k..... now you got me curious! LMAO
