sat night special

i finally got a night off from being the mule so decided that us and a few friends would get together and have a few. fire, few drinks, the cops. had a real good time.
my BIL went and bought himself an 85 K5 with mud tires and was anxious to try it out. so me in the dodge, him and this guy in this 03 avalanche (street tires not lifted) decided to go out. unfortunately, most of the mud had dried up but found a couple of spots that were pretty nice. the county had come through recently and graded all the roads we went down so as long as you could clear the ft tall line of dirt and mud to get into the ditches, you were ok. i tagged along more as the tow truck as i knew that avalanche would not make it and my BIL is notorious for sticking anything he can get his hands on. hence, why i dont let him borrow my stuff. but we really did have alot of fun. 4 year old sitting next to me crying not to go home. i know i raised him right.

these pictures here was this morning after it rained cats and dogs. one reason i decided to come back home.

washing and cleaning?? dont have time between now and next weekend if i get to go out again. well, i do have the time but there are other things that i would rather do like getting the mower ready for another cutting season. i replace spindles this year.
believe i will be on the prowl for something else i can take out on the trail. i really dont want my truck out there getting hit with trees and sticks.
how can you tell when you are with a country girl?? when they get out to lift the limb that threatens to take out your CB antennas. she ended up holding it up for the 2 trucks behind us too.
