My father-in-law was supposed to be coming out today for a quick visit, he called about an hour ago to say he wasn't able to make it. His Ford died and had to get a tow back to his shop. So being the good sport that I am, I laughed and said... yep you guessed it...

Shoulda bought a Chevy!

Nothing wrong with calling a ford to tow you out of a snow bank.....

Update:

FIL (father-in-law) found out what the problem was. Apparently the main wire to the solenoid had rotted off and he had to go digging to find where it was supposed to attach to. Once he got that issue rendered, he had to buy a new wire, but none of the local parts stores had any. I told him "of course they were all sold out of Ford parts. Fords break down more". Ha, well that got him all fired up. I guess it was a bit of a ***** to do, but he got it and still made it out the house for supper, and me to rag on him a little more.

last guy I said that too, ended up pulling me out of a mud hole.... then he laughed and said, shoulda bought a ford.....20 minutes later, blew up his shiny little motor..... moral of the story....... buy a chevy.....
