| Yall gotta remember there's allot of people like me too who get on here but dont always post reply's or problems..... allot of times i hop on here, look around at the threads and someone's already posted a valid and credible solution so i look at it as why reiterate the obvious.... its like the kid on the play ground that stands back and watches his friend beat the **** outa another kid and then walks up and goes "yeah what he said" and walks away..... there are allot of people out there that just dont say much like myself unless im the first to respond or have a different possible solution |

| Man I do, I just think after a guy come on, gets help, he ought to at least have the courtesy to come back and say what fixed his issue. This way other can search the threads and find the answers. Also while I am pet peeving, just want to make a suggestion to everyone, and alot of us are guilty of this, even the everyday users. When you start a Thread, title it properly so it can be easily found. I see threads that are titled HELP, or Whats wrong with my truck, or Major Problem. Why not title it, 98 GMC Won't start, or Water in Oil, just something in the title to help users find the topic they are looking for. Now many times we have threads that are geared just for the everyday users, and those don't matter much. Example, Muds project thread. Noone in a pinch or having a problem needs to find that thread anyway. That thread is more for the frequnet users to keep updated. Ok, enough venting. I just like to see the title include a basic idea of the problem.

| As Brad said, the idea has been proposed and discussed. The bottom line is that ADMIN has to be convinced a policy is in the best interest of the forum before changes can be implemented. Joining just to post an item for sale may rub some the wrong way. The item for sale may also be something a member is looking for. The Thread does not cause a strain on the server and can be easily ignored if a member is not interested in the purchase.

| Maybe the solution to the problem of classifieds is not including them in "New Posts" lists. They won't be a distraction when checking in. They'll be available if you wish to read them. Personally, I have pretty much no use for them, since when I want something it's usually a rush, want it locally. If I get desperate, I know where to look. |

| I like to see them in the new posts list.

| Well it's time to comment, as long as they post results, let the drifters drift. As for the classified if the top brass is happy then so be it! open forums will have it's problems as seen in teh past, but it seems the moderators always have a handle on it. (Gee was that a compliment? )
