| wet floor mat and padding my truck has a rubber mat instead of carpeting and my heater core was leaking into the cab, it dripped down behind the mat and soaked into the padding. i removed the mat and padding, flushed out the antifreeze with clean water and let it dry for a couple days in the sun. will it still have a musty smell after i re-install it? should i spray something on it 1st? any tricks? |

| That padding will more than likely hold in the moisture and start smelling. It's hard to get moisture out of the padding. I bought a crown vic a while back that was "coffee logged". I took the padding out and washed the floor and let dry and reinstalled new padding and carpet. It was fine then. Hope this helps. |

| good clean outside air will take care of it most likely.... let it air dry as long or often as possible
