the great texas mud race

took my boy there last night and was sorely disappointed. will not go again. really only went this go round was because i got free tickets. buddy system still works here.
2 night show, fri night lasting til 3:30 in the morning because they could not get their head out of the sky. when it takes 45 minutes between runs, you know its time to go home. the deal started at 7:30 last night and when we left at 10, the mud bog still hadnt opened up yet. what a waste, getting out there all hot and sweaty. ended up finding some friends and taking joy rides in the gator that was loaned out to the expo center by one of the farm and ranch places. some of those boys had some real great runs though and the smell of burnt alcohol just brought me back home. no room for small blocks there.
the scenery was nice up there if yall get my drift. there was always something cool to look at everywhere you went. afterall, this is texas in the summer. if i hadnt been with the company i was with, i might have taken yall some pics and showed you what we down here have to put up with.

Sounds as bad as the mud drag/moster truck wanna be show they do in north bend oregon. Lame!!!
