I lived your way for a short time. More of Covina area, but hung out at the mall in West Coving there at Vincent and I 10 quite a bit in my kid days. If my memory serves we lived in the hood over there at Vincent and Cypress. That was about 30 years ago. I'd be afraid to see the place now.
Small world man I pass by your old place regularly haha~!
I'm about 3 blocks away from that mall myself, they have made a TON of changes to it over the past couple of years, the city in general is growing and quickly! We even have a "Field of Dreams" now!

If you ever find yourself in the area again just give me a holler!

that's what got me interested... Now if the word Thai was at the beginning of the title I imagine there would be ALLOT more replies heh heh...

Understandable. I was more or less just curious. I don't think I could find a real world use for it in daily life, but there are always those random situations where it comes in handy to know little tricks like that... Adaptability I guess... No insult taken here, you just further piqued my curiosity !

Ok tried dry ice method and it did not work. Seemed like it got better then reappeared. I got it cold enough for the ice to stay on crease after dry ice was removed about 20 mins. Oh well.

The dry ice method, to my knowledge, only works if there are no angles in the metal, it has to be a smooth curved dent or something similar in order to see lasting results.

You can try those suction cups that pull out the dent for you, I know Harbor Freight has them on sale regularly

That suction cup thing working is normally rare that it works, and its usually a big cave in type dent that it will work on. I will say this though, I bought the $1.99 or $2.99, I foget the price now, but it was dirt butt cheap., I used it on a bedside dent, and a door dent, and yes it did work. Just don't forget to spit in it first, it works much better. I think I may have a post about it. So it can work certainly, but on rare type dents. Nope not for creases or hail dings though.

Hotrodpc thanks for the correction, I don't know too much about body repair, haven't had the pleasure of diving too far into that skillset.

Good luck to the OP with fixing that crease, sorry I couldn't be of more help!

Not a problem eponator. I wasn't trying to knock your suggestion down. Everyone does need a suciton cup in the their tool box. Just don't have many expectations, and then you'll be totally happy when your the get the dent type that it does fix. My neighbors kid ran into our car door once with a bicylce and put a biggo dent in the side of the car. I was impressed the parents came to take responisbility but I felt bad when they come unglued on the kid. A little yelling and stern punishment would have been suffiecient, but it came to smacking the kid around in the middle of the street. So I told them to chill a bit, we'll ge it worked out somehow. Lucky for me and them, especially the kid, the suciton cup pulled it right out. You could not even tell it had been hit. The rubber bike tire did not leave any damage to the paint, it just caved in the door. It looked horrible, but 2 pulls with the cup, it was out 100%.
