I'm leaning more towards the second set though. What I'd really like is a set of Alcoa's, but they're about $1,800 for a set of four.

I may have to skip the rims though, this time at least, to stay within budget and still get everything else done.

Looking on Jeg's last night I found the perfect alternator for the truck. 300 amps! And a real bargain at only $490

No... I'm not going with that monster. I think it would need a diesel all its own just to turn it. But a nice 150 or 200 amp unit is still going to set me back a few hundred.

See the bottom paragraph of post #11 up there. Basically though, it's because the stock 100 amp unit isn't big enough for the electrical load of the warning lights.

You know, reading the second time, I am getting it now. I thought he was actually reffering to if you have a borke back how can you do that, and need the Viagra. But lets just say, I now get it, and it funny as $#%&. For those who are slow like I was, just let me say 1 word to add to that quote. "Mountain".

Well, I don't use credit cards, all my college costs were paid with the GI Bill, grants and scholarships, and I've already got a king sized bed so...

And I'll pass on the Viagra and Broke Back also.

Ya know, it's kinda funny actually... I never use credit, or credit cards, because my daddy always said, "If you can't pay cash for it then you can't afford it" So, when my g/f and I were buying this house they pulled credit reports on us... except that two of the three reporting agencies insisted I didn't exist because they had no record of me.
