I'd sure think if a guy could weld decent, he could make something like that for a couple hundred in materials and a few hours time.
I must agree, I was thinking when I clicked the link that I was going to see some cool off-road bumper with all different angles and hard welds etc.. Then I see that and I say, "Huh".
That looks like a stock work truck bumper Could probably buy one off of an older truck or another not so good working one, I'm sure you could get one of those cheap

I do admire you taste of proffesionalism though

I have a question for bumpers that are huge and aggressive like I have seen with all the accessories and winches Does the truck need to have the suspension adjusted to handle the extra weight?

And the $2,000 is for a custom setup, which I'd have to do if I were adding a winch and roller fairlead. Without that they do have a stock setup that would fit my truck for only $1,100

For ONLY $1100. That's a steal !!! The winch is included with that right??? NOT. I think they'd be stealling from you. I think I'd find me a local fab shop, tell them what you want, and I bet they can build for half the $1100.

Funny Stuff. True story here. Please bless my Grandma's soul, and let her RIP. Poor lady did not speak very well. Example, Antibiotics were know to her as Bionics. She never did get my step dads name right of 22 years. Til the day he died and at his funeral even, she never got his name right. This lady, not the sharpest at all whatsover, but Crochet. Oh my, the things could do with a needle and yarn were unreal. Very talented. Also legally blind, althogh she could see some with some glasses that were an inch thick I think. But she would crochet by feel I guess. Amazing really. She pronounced Afagahn however spelled, you know the thngs for a bed or a sofa cover. She pronounced that as Afracun. One day, my mother says to my grandmother, "Mom, I am having a yard sale this weekend, do you have anything you want to sell?" Grandma replies, "Ohhh yes, yes I do. I have a closet full of Afracun's I need to sell" We all looked at each other and busted up laughing, grandma lost of course as to what we were laughing at. You must realize how close to, Afracun sounds like African. So before grandma got herself into trouble for someone who did not know that she just talked that way, we did make sure, she pronounced it properly since she wanted to sit at the yard sale and sell her Afagahns. BTW, grandma was not racist at all. Just the way she talked. We also had lots of fun with the "Bionics" and antibiotics thing too, but it was not near as important to explain the proper pronounciation so we let it go and just have fun with it.

Then there's also the fact that with that big box on the back, I doubt I'm getting that truck anywhere offroad that I'd actually need a winch.

Still, if I did get a grill guard, this is the one I'd get...

Never know if you have to pull a fine little lady out ...but you can get one of them manual pulling winches.. lol
