Has anyone tried this before, what are your thoughts on it?

Ya... there's taklk about the acitone eating away at rubber lines and rubber O rings and such if you don't get the mix just right or if you run it for too long. I don't know about any truth in that tho. But I do know that rubbing alcahol can dry up and destroy a printer rubber roller within a few months to a year depending on how much was used on it. And acitone can do the same thing only quicker. I was told to use acitone on a printer rubber printer rolelr once and it looked as if I shaved it real close, the rubber color was on the cloth. It cleaned the roller and allowed paper to be picked up so it could go back to the customer.

i was just talkin to my dad about it, and he says not to take any stock in that theory, gas already contains acetone, and that if adding more makes a difference, they would of known it by now

Well hes right, The oil companies pay big bucks to engineers and such to examine fuels and come up with all the proper additives.

Acetone Will Not Increase Mileage. It Will Increase Hp Though.
But As Mentioned Earlier It Is Already An Additive In Fuel To Increase Atomization.if You Increase The Amount Of Aceton In The Fuel It Will Start To Dissovle Any Soft Lines In The Fuel System Not To Mention Increase The Combustion Temp Drasticaly. And You Do Not Want That, Pistons And Valves Start Frieing Along With Other Things.
