| They all hold value equally just depends on they way they were treated and mileage. Make between chevy and gmc doesnt hold any water as to value. Sorry

| And all that equates to what as far as value? Some like the change in chevy front end, and some dont . Doesnt matter to most i dont guess.

| the "angry eyes" took me a year but i got used to them and like them, i just dont care for the two buldges on the tail lights other than thoes which can be swapped for the older ones(ya know the ones with yellow turn signals). but yeah style is about the only differerence the trim has less difference in it than what you see in a toyota and a lexus......its got the same old engines under the hood |

| Same engine is a good thing. First year production vehicle should be avoided

| At work we had 96, 97 & 98 3/4 ton 4x4's, 2 were gmc's and the third was a chevy and they were made at the same assembly plant somewhere in Louisania. There was the same emblem of an alligator with the name of the assembly plant on all 3 trucks....hpg |

| "Is'nt Chevy and Gmc basically the same truck, I mean they are both made by the same company. I have always thought of the GMC as a more professional grade of Chevy, like there comercials basically say. I noticed on a poll in here that the Chevy trucks are way more prefered than the GMC though, just trying to make some sence out of the difference. Gmc pick-ups are simply just Chevy's with "lockwashers" lol |

| Not sure how many times this needs to be said before it sinks in, But they are the same truck . Professional grade is an advertising ploy. Nothing more. Let me think, That means Chevys are rough and heavier than GMC right," LIKE A ROCK" Thats chevys add
