Need to get a Title Please help

Hi guys im new to these forums how is everyone? I bought a 1992 Mazda B2600 pickup truck. I got it from donation viechal and it had no title. I called dmv and they didnt help much and wont give me a title for the truck. I live here in Ny and I dont know what to do to get this thing on the road. I was wondering if you guys had any ideas or new of any sites where i can pay them to get me one with just the vin number?

Any help would be great thanks

Without knowing the laws of NY, the best advice I could give you is to run the VIN and find the last owner the vehicle was titled to. Have them apply for a lost title, or give you a bill of sale and go through your DMV that way. Good luck.

i don't know about ny but in new mexico i went through the same thing with a motorcycle they told me to place a ad in the paper for two weeks to see if anyone claims the item if not you pay 30$ and they give you a title.

Well its called a salvage titleor get a contract and put a mechanics lean on it. Send a certified letter and if enought time passes the state will legally give you an origional title. Check you state law for the right way to do this
