GMC Seirra 1500 or Chevy Cavalier Z24GM

What would win in a race a stock 1997 GMC Seirra 1500 V8 5.7l or 1998 Chevy Cavalier z24 pretty well stock except for a exhaust tip and a K&N air filter? Cause my friend is talkin alot of smack and he doesnt even have his licence yet he will get it tomorrow if he passes. And i know i can smoke him.

Tell him to put up or shut up. I had a nice little sticker on the rear fender of my drag racing bike, It read:
" when the green flag drops, the bullsh*t stops"

If he knows how to drive it and its a manual, he should beat you, but not by much, when used right those cars are quick, but if its auto, or crappy driver a walk in the park, If you win its because your driving skills are better than his. And dont let anyone tell you the way you drive something doesnt effect racing much,, that means they dont know much about racing. the 98 z24 has 150 hp and light weight. dont forget that

Also, im prepared for people to get on and my brothers 2004 cavalier couldnt touch my old 89 and all this ****, and thats what it is, I dont care what it is, unless a truck has bolt on power and a good driver it isnt faster than a car like that.

I know a guy with a Z06 corvette turbocharged against a eagle talon, the talon wins, why?? the driver!!!!!!

i got one of those little 2.2 in the pontiac. i know that it will move when called upon. even with the automatic tranny. thats alot different stlye racing than i am accustomed to. we always raced in classes. 5.7l and 4.3l, trucks, smaller cars. we never done much of stuff like what you talking about. makes it harded to bet when the vehicle next to you weighs twice as much or twice as less.
on a different note, if i knew my ride had the guts to do it, id put anyone in their place no matter the vehicle.
