there is no way the object could have got in the oil if it fell in the intake. fuel, coolant and oil do not mix in the engine. i still say it is your lifters or you forot to tighten your air cleaner or something and it is rattling around.

You need to remove the intake if something is bouncing around. If it gets into the cylinder your probally gonna need a new motor. I wouldnt drive ti at all till i could pull the intake.

Kinda wondering how you were cleaning injectors in the dark, on the side of the road? Or, even why? This is a TBI motor right? (no carb)
If something small enough fell into the TB, and found its way through the plenum, it would have found a valve by now, and the conversation would more than likely be regarding why your truck will no lomger run. More importantly, the big question would be, "why did my truck stop running, after that terrible noise?" You should know, that the path of a foriegn object through the intake, would mean that 1 of the pistons took several shots at the object before you even realized it. A small noise may have been there for many miles. This does not mean all is well, just that the noise you hear now, may not be related to the object you think may have fallen into the engine.

My truck is still running, but the noise steadaily increased to the point I won't drive it for faer of damage.
Octane booster clogged my injectors.
