Blower quits on 95 GMC

The heater-Ac blower on my 95 runs intermitently on all speeds. Do I look for a bad ground or connection or is there something else that would cause this. It does not have the climate control, just the basic manual controls.

Thank you
scav.

i would check connections as well as amp draw. does it blow intermittently no matter if you have it on dash, floor, or defrost??

Any air position and any fan speed the fan intermitently quits, then in anywhere from a few seconds to 10 min it will start again.I have played around with the connections to the relay and can't duplicate it.
I have been told the motor can do this. Advanced auto has one for about $30 so I think I will give that a try.

Thanks for the reply.

I searched for a long time and numerus times and could find nothing.
Finally tucked way back above the heater box behind the glove box was a pair of wires and connector. There was a red wire and a black wire and it appears that the red supplys power to the relay and the lower fan speeds. The black must be the ground. The way I found it was after the fan had been running for about 15 min I put my hand in that area to look for more wires and almost burned it. The connection on the black wire had gone bad and was getting hot. I simply replaced the connection on the black and things seem to be good now. Hope this may help someone else in the future.

Thank you for posting back on it. Final answers will probably help someone else down the line, no matter how simple seeming.
