    96 GMC Choo Choo Custom

My Dad passed last year and left me a 96 GMC Sierra Choo Choo Custom truck (pretty sporty truck for a 83 year old).

It is a short narrow bed, white with maroon leather interior with about 100000 miles on it. It is in near pristine condition. Tires are new and custom wheels are beautiful. I had the inside of the bed painted because Dad had scratched it. As far as I know the only thing wrong with it is 2 small dents on the side of the hood.

I know nothing about these trucks. Can anyone give me info or direct me to a site?

    Welcome to the site:
My knowledge of CCC is limited, and it really only pertains to El Caminos and third generation Camaros. Was not aware that CCC did anything with trucks at all.
CCC known for sme cool El Co modifications, and such.
What have they done to tis truck to make it a CCC truck? Have you any pics?

A real truck is supposed to have nicks, dents, and scratches. Why make it perfect? Save up money for performance upgrades or in case something goes bad.

As far as choo choo custom i don't know anything about it but it sounds like a good sporty package.

Honest Charlie is nothing more than a vendor (now) that carries body panels and front bumpers that were used by CCC.
CCC is no longer in business and has become Choo Choo Automotive Styling. This happened about 5 or 6 years ago when super custom fabrication shops started becoming very popular. These guys were well known some time ago, but have fallen by the way side making room for other creators. As I recall, CCC just really installed Super Sport bumpers and such on non SS vehicles. They sprayed on some graphics instead of factory logos and called it good.
These new guys are very new and have not made much of an impact on the custom market. Maybe they will, and maybe they will not.
I believe they are out of Chattanooga TN. currently.
Have no idea what they did with later model trucks. Heak, they were in pretty good trouble by 96. Maybe that is why they started customizing trucks. I guess the fact that El Co's were no longer being made might have had something to do with it too.

    Thanks for the replies.

I don't have pics but will try to get some. I live in CT and truck is in TN

I believe the custom features are

    front spoiler with fog lights
    side skirts
front and rear fender treatment (flares?)
behind rear fenders and below rear bumper skirts
    wheels

Not being familiar with these I probably didn't describe it in the correct terms, but essentially down each side and around the wheel wells, front spoiler and reasr "panel" below bumper and polished "razor" type wheels.

BTW I added an avatar. Kids are 12 and 15 now.

    Thanks again for your help.

It was just a cosmetic upgrade. usually had nicer seat and a couple trim items, There were factory ordered trucks set to choo choo customs ( I think in Texas) and has a few options added. It was a marketing ploy. No real performance or suspension upgrades, just eye candy. GM had several of these trucks, They also offerad a Tiapa package which was a real nice upgrade, and several others that i cant remember the name of.
Window tint its for window, Not for tail lights. Don't be that guy .
