| Hi All... I Recently Bought A Very Clean Well Kept, 2002 Gmc 1500hd, Pickup. Of Course The Owners Manual Was Not Included, So, My Question Is: do I Have To Stop This Truck To Engage/ Disengage The 4 Wd, Or Is It A " Shift On The Fly" ???????? LOOKS LIKE NOBODY KNOWS THE ANSWER TO THIS ONE... Last edited by FIRSTTRUCK; 10-27-2007 at 07:37 AM. |

| All 4 wd's will "Shift on the fly from 2wd to 4wd high. You do not have locking hubs, so having to get aout of the truck is not necessary. You will have to stop completely to engage and disengange low range. |
