72GMC-Chevy conversion

I have recently purchased a 72 1/2 ton 4x4 GMC...although the GMC with its rear leafs was superior....I like the chevrolet front end better on that body style...body wise what all do i need to make an accurate conversion and what did all the different models such as c-10/k-10 designate....curious to know what i need to make an accurate chevy half ton 4x4

all you have to change is the grill and headlights. fenders hood and everything else should be the same.
