| Has anyone had a problems when this engine reaches a certian milage? I am looking for big money problems.

| The reliability of the LS engine is second to none. The thing is bullet proof, and makes great power. I would not be very concerned about the miles on the engine. Now as far as the transmission is concerned, I feel that the 4L80E is gonna be your big money item. The 80 is big, it is heavy, and it is expensive. Becasue of your previous truck, you are already aware of the axle disconnect, and you have been on this site long enough to know about the little gitches like the steering column, and ABS pump. If you are aware of the cost of the transmission, you will not be going in with blinders on. That looks like a truck that is in decent shape, although that front valence could use a couple fasteners. |
