| my boss has a 3500 04 with the allison tranny. great truck we use it to pull heavy stuff all the time being a heavy equipment operator pulling 10,000+ pounds daily is'nt uncommon belive the only thing he has replaced is the injectors and its got 142,000+ miles on it. runs great, gets good milage and has plenty of power. |

| vwchop--Did you know that you could get a HD truck with a gas engine and on buying a Duramax my brother loves his truck you might consider getting it with cloth seats the leather seats wear quick and look like **** go to the book store and buy a comsumer report book and see what you can find his engine has been real good if you plan on keeping it a long time go for it because if not just buy a HD with a gas engine my brother also had a GMC crew cab with a 6.0 he said that it loves eating gas consider what engine your going to buy if buy a gas one I know you can find a site that well let you know of recalls on a Duramax it just might be the best thing to do since not a many members here have Duramax engines on there trucks if they did they sure would let you know. I know your new but members here would let you know if they knew something. |
