it's back Well I took my truck up to the dealership and the noise went away from the leaf springs just for a couple of days. Now it's back and worse than before. How many times do I have to take the truck up there before they just completely put new springs in????

| You every seen the movie or read the book "The Hitch Hickers Guide to the Galazy"? The answer is always 42. LOL.... What did they do to make the noise go away? Did they explain what it was? Like your personal health, perhaps a second opinion would not be a bad idea.

The sad thing about GM customer service is they will always side with their dealer. I know this from experience.

Sorry I haven't responded, I'm at work on an oil rig, and just haven't had the time. Well when it went away for the couple of days the dealer explained to me I had some dirt/grit in between the springs, so I'm thinking whatever, that's a load of bull. Then I had to come back to work, when I get home it's going back to the dealership. Some of the guys I've talked to out here think the demon rests in the bushings. I'm not sure but I am going back to the dealer and try to get GM involved.

Customer service DOES NOT always side with the dealer! make sure you call customer service before the next dealer visit and tell them the line of bull you are getting. It sounds like he oiled the springs to make it quiet, If this is "normal" every farmer, construction worker, etc. who has a truck like this would have the problem and gm truck sales would drop like a rock.
