| Getting Codes My 02 GMC Sierra started running rough the other day , not to responsive when i hit the gas. I have already replaced fuel pump , fuel filter. changed plugs , change oil regularly using Amsoil. I figured it might be a sensor took it to the shop to have them run it on their computer. One hour later the guy calls and tells me that a bunch of codes came up , that it would need further time on computer to pinpoint the problems (2-3 hrs) needless to say the guy wants 280.00 for finding the problem. which is my catalytic converter and two 02 sensors. Is it bull or do you really need to put it on the computer for extra time to pinpoint the problem. He want's 1192 for the whole job. Any insights appreciated. |
