The term "Off-Road" is a grey area, and can be considered different things to different folks.
While some may consider an A/T tire to be a pretty aggresive tire, others may think that they are on par with whitewalls.
Always an interesting conversation, and usually makes for an interesting thread topic.

While this is not a debate for which tire is considered a street tire with a semi agressive profile, or an all out competition tire that simply has a DOT approval, we should ask the important question, and that is how the tire is to be used?
What type of off road use will this tire see, and how often does it get off road.
Will there be any towing, or is a load rating important?
Snow conditions in its future, or will they have to endure Arizona type summers?
What type of tires do you have now, and what did you like, or even dislike about them.
Would be bad to buy a set that were so similar that you encounter some of the same problems that you had before.

All of the suggestions above are great, but are they great for every application. That answer is no.
Maybe it is more inportant to figure out the application first and then there could be some real thought as to which tires can be considered, and which ones can be eliminated.
How about a size? what size are you considering?

that's what i have been running for about a year. the road noise is minimal, if any, until you hit 70.
they perform great out in the field and yard. with a little rpm, they clean out well compared to the A/T's i had.
they work great in the snow, but all bets are off if there's ice under it.
these tires have seen some mud, but i have yet to put them to a real test, so if you're a hardcore mudder, look for some more write ups on these tires.

all in all, these are a great daily driver tire and i am happy with them.

Now thats great information Mud.
Real world experience, and includes some potential weakness that this tire might have.
If this driver will see much snow or ice, this might not be the tire.
Many tires will be stronger in some areas, and might need some help in others.
