| According to the 2008 GMC Sierra Owner's Manual the driver's Window Lockout switch "prevents the rear and passenger's windows from operating, except from the driver's position." When I activate the switch in my 2008 truck, the passenger window still operates the passenger's side while both rear windows do lock. I thought I had the passenger window locked but my dog managed to "roll" the window down anyway. Fortunatly he did not attempt to jump out. The dealer tells me this design is normal and that the passenger window can not lock at all. The manual and dealer seem to contradict on whether it should lock or not? A friend of mine has a 2005 Chevy 1500 and his passenger window does lock. What's the deal? Does anyone know what is correct? Thanks, Tony |
