i believe there is an issue with the electrical connection in the clip where the truck wires attach to the pump itself. i've seen a few of em with this problem.... the last one was my dads and upon inspection you could see where a wire had burned the clip. check that

I'm leaning toward the same thing.I hate working on electrical Seems like when it heats up it cant take the load. I will have to check that out. I thought also maybe the ignition.I have heard that this will do the same thing on this make.
