| well it feels like it's coming from the front end of the truck and it also tends to drive fine until i hit a bump and then it goes crazy. But i recenlty took my trans out and the drive shaft they were about half that bad not to much corrosion seemed normal but i'll replace them anyway. I don't think it would hurt to do that since they will eventually need it anyway. Thanks for the pics that helps alot as far a a reference to go buy in the future.

| Yeah, you don't want this headache POS. Sell it to me cheap and you will spend less on Tylenol. Now being serious. Yes, keep it. I am agreeing with the ones that say, with all the new parts, eventually you are going to have an almost new truck again, and if buying the right parts at the right place, you will get a lifetime warranty on most of the parts. I keep a file for each of my vehicles and save receipts, titles, puirchase contracts etc. Even though most places you do not need the receipt, just remember your old phone # if you change phone #'s. I am also pretty **** about keeping an excel file on my computer with dates, mileage, where parts purchased, how much I spent on the parts, if it is lifetime warranty, what brand and part #, and for oil what brand of filter, brand of oil and weight used. It comes in handy years down the road when you forget where you bought the lifetime starter, Advance, Pep Boys, Auto Zone or O'Reily's. The good old excel file on the computer tells me who to call or what oil to buy in the event I have to add a quart between changes since I refuse to mix brands and grades of oil. Lucky for me, I currently do not have any oil burners or leakeres. Keep the truck and good maintenance records. If and when you do sell it, you will get more money. Buyers are amazed to see good records on used vehicles. It will also help when you see you have only spent $500-$800 in repair and maintencance parts over the year, and realize you would have made $6000 in payments + new car maintenance and NOT have a lifetime warranty. |
