 | BTW, are you using a wiring harness adapter, or are you hard wiring the new unit in?

| well if you are hard wiring it, especially due to its age, why not use the power+ ground- and the ign. signal cables from the truck, and simply run new speaker wires.... this way you cn be sure they are all wired up, and know the wires are clean? At least, that is what I would do.....

| AND... then having the problem of missing wires, would also not be a problem....

| great advice on running new speaker wire. and sence they are almost 20yrs. old too. you will get better sound that way.
