97 Sonoma transmission Problem I have a 97 GMC Sonoma 4x4 with auto trans. When i first take off it takes it a while to shift into 2nd gear. Once it does shift into 2nd it feels like it shifts on into third. It also takes a while for it to shift into overdrive. when im running between 40-45mph it will sometimes shift in and out of overdrive, you can see the rpms move up and down like its shifting in and out. I recently put Trans-X in it to see if it would loosen things up inside but didnt see a difference. anyone know what could be wrong??

Have you ever had the tranny done with a fluid exchange, not just a pan and filter?

adding the Trans-X is the only things i have tried. someone told me me that if the trans-x made a difference then the trans needed to be flushed out and oil changed really soon
