| My cats are gone..They were broken inside and blocking my exhaust. I had them cut off and straight piped. Here's a link, but you can't hear the noise I'm talking about because it only happens when driven. MySpaceTV Videos: New Rumble 40 Series Flowmaster -NO CATS- 4.3L VORTEC V6 by Rick |

| Funny you say that about the brake. It stops for a few seconds when I hit the brakes. I was wondering why it would stop with the brakes if it was a loose metal rattle. |

| How old are the brakes? the pads might be rattling in the caliper, you might even have the start of caliper seizure. Its possible you were looking in the wrong area? Just an off the wall guess after what you responded

| Yes this is the truck, but it was rebuilt from the cab foward to the sum of $12,000...It was all like new when I got it back. As for the pads, I have new ones waiting to go in, but for the old ones about 15,000-20,000 on them..Maybe ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Ninja_Lawn_Guy; 09-04-2008 at 05:22 PM. | have you tried tapping on your center caps. i know it sounds stupid but i have dont it before. i replaced wheel bearings, shocks, brackets and all kinds of stuff on my bronco. then one day i just put some tape around the inside of the centercap and the noise stopped. i was so pissed but it gave me an excuse ot build it bigger untill i figured out the problem |

| perhaps a hard line is hitting the frame. a loose wheel inner wheel well. take a hammer and hit your frame in a there isnt anything around. listen for the noise. i dunno what else to tell you things come loose when you get into an accident. did you have it fixed by a shop maybe they can tell you what u can do |
