How much lift do you want? How much money do you want to spend? What is the goal? Looks or usefullness? You installing it yourself, or having it done? How big on tires are you trying to fit? Do you want a suspension lift or a body lift? These are all questions that need to be answered before someone can give you definite advice.

Here is a couple of sites that might help you though. I recomend either skyjacker, fabtech or even superlift if you find the right price. But check out www.roughcountry.com www.suspensionconnection.com and this one may be worth it, but I do not shop it often myself... Chevy Lift Kits Direct - Lift Kits for Chevy at Lowest Prices

Help us out by answering the previous questions and we can narrow down the final product.

about 2-4 inches under $700 going for looks and usefullness and a suspension lift bc a body lift is pointless in my eyes and i will probably be doing it myself

07-up Chevy Suspension Lift Kit

This might work for you then. Price is right, and install is relatively easy

if you do a small lift using the torsion bars on any truck, it can wear out the ball joints and bushings faster then most, but included in these kits are reallignment tools and adjustments to aid in that issue. Any lift, if not installed right, will harm your truck. Meanwhile, if installed right and not abused will last just fine I would think.

I agree with Jr. Read through the kit's instructions to find out what it suggests in realignment and how to do it. Typically you can find these instructions online prior to purchase. Find the kit you think you want, read through the installation instructions and get confidence that the manufacturer wants to sell you a product that for your truck permanently.
