2000 GMC 2500HD door locks

I have a 2000 model GMC 2500HD, regular cab, long bed. It has the remote for the door locks, my problem is that the remote works fine but once i get into the vehicle the door lock button and the power mirrors will not work. The buttons for the windows work on both doors, but no power to door locks either door, or the power mirrors. Any suggestions as to what my problem might be or where to start looking? Thanks in advance.
This is my first GMC, bought it used, with 63k on it. Man this truck has some power! The 6.0 engine is smooth and pulls very well through the rpm range.
