hey all
this is my first post on this forum

well anyways i have an 04 gmc sierra z71

and i already bought a cold air intake for it and new Bf Goodrich T/a KO tires

my next investments will be new daul exhaust pipes
i want my truck to PRRR im not a fan of my truck being quite
but i dont want it obnoxiously loud
any ideas what kind of pipes to get or do pipe tips with resonators work just fine?

welcome to the club.
always been a fan of the flowmasters. several different options to go with from mild to loud and obnoxious. i run the 40 series on mine.

do you know if there is a website anywhere that has sounds of the exhaust? or is every truck different ?

with the 40 series did you also notice a difference in power and mpg ?

you might notice a small differance in power. dont think you will notice much in fuel economy. every truck is going to sound a little different due to engine size and make. might check with the flowmaster site. somewhere on this site, someone posted theirs from a phone or video camera.

I am a fan of flowmasters my self and have had them installed on my last two trucks (both v-8 dodges) and loved them. Great sound as you get up to speed or when you kick her down. But mellow and hardly a sound in the cab at highway cruising speed. I will have dual put on Fred (78' C-10) as soon as I can have it done. But this time I am looking for something with a bit more rumble to it. I want it to rumble when I drive and talk out loud when I stop it or kick him down. I am looking into Hookers as well as Flowmaster this time. Also looking to see what else there is, but I think it will be Flowmaster, Hooker, and a dang ol set of glass packs even.
