 | 1996 GMC fullsize SLE I am looking at my father in law's 1996 Green Fullsize GMC SLE with 190,000 miles on it. 4x4, could use a new tailgate and the bottom under the truck needs to be scuffed and some black truck bed coating because the original paint is flaking off. Other than the gate and some truck bed the truck is soild. It is an extended cab and also has the matching green cap. What is a fair price for this truck? What should I pay being the sonj in law? |

 | depends on how good you are in with the FIL. in this area, i probably would not pay more than 4 or 5 grand. does everything work on her?? shifts smooth and the 4wd works?? does the engine idle good and runs down the road good?? |

| everything works Yes everything works on the truck. The rotors need turned but that is it. I would not hesitate to drive the truck from Michigan to Texas. |

| have you checked KBB or NADA for prices on it?? not having your zipcode would make it hard for me to look it up for ya to give you a good price. |

| i would say go for it maybe arange some sort of payment plan if he is interested. he should just give you the truck since you took his pia daughter off his hands lol j/k... thats what my father in law did.. he gave us his old grand prix.....we had alot of fun in that car...lol |
