I feel kinda dumb asking but....

I'm looking online for parts and what not and I keep coming across Sierra XC. What does the XC stand for?

it could be extended cab but as with most vehicles now the xc, as toyota-dx, le,xle and other makes, models usually refers to the interior and options with the auto

That's what I was thinkin but would it really matter if you where buying headers. I mean the only real difference is the cab right isn't the wheelbase on an extended cab with a 6' bed the same as a regular cab long box?

If the XC stands for xtra cab, then that would actually make a difference in the headers... the design and room under the hood or rather along the frame for the y-pipe may be different then the reg cab. Just a thought.

I would call a local dealer and ask what it stands for. They will tell you, I even call them with my old truck to see what it came from the factory with by having them run my numbers. They are a lot of help other then selling you a new car or truck.
