| 92 GMC Sierra 1500 When I put my truck into gear, it will drive for about 15 feet and the passager rear wheel will lock up. I don't understand the problem or how to fix it. Will somebody give me some advice so that I will aleast have a starting place to fix the problem. Thank you so much in advance. |

| check your rear brakes including the park brake cable it could be partially seized on, it holds harder forward then in reverse...

| I agree I had that problem except my tire wasn't locking up it was just turning extremely hard and I couldn't release my parking brake anyfurther so I just cut the cable under my dash and it snapped loose and the truck drove fine after that! I don't recommend you just start cutting stuff because in my case I was super mad at the time and wasn't thinking all to clear it just so happened that it worked! But definatley look to your brakes! |

| stumps got the right idea. have you tried backing up after it happens? you could have a seized wheel cylinder or the shoes may have brake fluid or gear oil on them, causing them to grab. how about the other side, it work fine? if not then i would changed out the rubber hose between the frame and axle. |
