When I put my truck into gear, it will drive for about 15 feet and the passager rear wheel will lock up. I don't understand the problem or how to fix it. Will somebody give me some advice so that I will aleast have a starting place to fix the problem. Thank you so much in advance.

check your rear brakes including the park brake cable it could be partially seized on, it holds harder forward then in reverse...

I agree I had that problem except my tire wasn't locking up it was just turning extremely hard and I couldn't release my parking brake anyfurther so I just cut the cable under my dash and it snapped loose and the truck drove fine after that! I don't recommend you just start cutting stuff because in my case I was super mad at the time and wasn't thinking all to clear it just so happened that it worked! But definatley look to your brakes!

stumps got the right idea. have you tried backing up after it happens? you could have a seized wheel cylinder or the shoes may have brake fluid or gear oil on them, causing them to grab.

how about the other side, it work fine? if not then i would changed out the rubber hose between the frame and axle.
