inside the hub. trace 2 wires down. yes, they do corrode, some clean them succesfully.

i ain't following you. if your brakes engaged, how did you take the door out? usually, it's when they DON'T engage.

the abs sensor is on the hub assembly.it gets wet, dirty and grimmy.if your going as far as to take them off to inspect them, just replace them.

most of the wheel speed sensors are sealed in the hub assembly. the only thing you can do is pray that the connection between the frame and the hub is at fault because replacing hubs is not cheap.

i'll see if i can find a TSB on the problem.

edit:call the dealer and give them this number and see what they can do for you, good luck!

got ahold of a service manager who knows something.these are on the front hub and get dirty.pull them out and clean them should fix the problem.he also stated that pulling the 60 amp fuse (under the hood) for the abs will disconnect the system and you will have regular brakes, but no abs.it will also light up the dash warning lights for abs and brakes. good thing to know!!
