It runs like a top. Hard to believe it's 30yrs old. Holds the road like it was brand new, not a squeaking or rattling component on it. Well the passenger side visor makes a noise.

Looks good. Buy a bigger air cleaner to get more air into that engine for more HP then add a K&N air cleaner along with a K&N top look at pictures below also amke sure it's going to fit that 4 barrel you have.

Wonder if you can find one that just says GMC without the Chevy logo?

Now is that a real K&N filter top or a knock off?

I saw a knock off in town that was cheaper.

Found a cheap 14" chrome cleaner assembly and K&N filter today.

The lid will be in a week or so.

It's a real K&N filter to bad they don't make them for my truck it has a top air cleaner that has two bolts to tighten the cover.

I had to ask the seller if they are K&N he said that they are not, that they are "made by Super Sunny (aka Racing Power Company)"

i been thinking about putting an air cleaner thats open like that on my truck but i go in mud alot and scared it will let water in my motor
