| Cheap shaved tailgate handle wanted to shave my rear tailgate handle , couldn't afford the kit . momma said if you want it do it yourself . (yes dear) it took a few days or planning and getting up the nerve to cut up a good tailgate . well i did it here are the pictures so far . thank god my welding getting better . silver hair deere |

| Not bad.. Not bad.. What are you using for the handle now.. Did you just flip it around and leave it there.. I have seen alot of shave kits go for 50 bucks... And they come with a nice filler peice and brackets to hold the handle in place... Jsut curios because i may be doing the same thing but i might jsut weld my tailgate shut and get a locking hard cover to cover up the tanks and compressors out of the eliments and peeking eyes |

| in the first set of pictures is the bracket i made . i just moved it to the inside , with my broken arm (forever) its easer to sling it over the tailgate to open than the way it was . it's really easy . and best of all it was CHEAP i had everything . here are some more pictures , thanks for the interest i thought it was a dead duck on this form . silver hair deere |

| i dont think it would be so easy for me because my tailgat is a little different... plus i wanna do some major modifications to mine... i wanna weld in anold school chevy tailgate.. the one that says chevrotet in nice big letters and then shave my taillites and put in some old school teardrop tails... but that is probley gonna take a few years.. at this point i wanna get it running and bagged |

| yeah nothing beats a lowered truck as a daily driver... i know alot of guys disagree with me but i think they look wicked... something about tuckin 22s under big fenders just gets me goin... soon ill have the lowered c10 and the lifter jimmy or jeep.. dont knwo what one i wanna do... the jimmy is the wifes and the jeep was my dads that he gave to me a few weeks ago.. its been in the family since new and he has always wanted to jack it up and make a trrail rig out of it but i kinda like i the way it is... who knows |

| looks good... its amazing what a little bondo and paint can do when you take the time to do it right.. i have seen some totally hacked up jobs that even with a light colored paint you can see the waves... and weld marks |
