did you have your trans built up before you had the shift kit put in? i don't know about the 80e's but boosting line pressure on the 60e's kills them with stock parts installed.

Yeah because so far as I know mine is stock although when it's cold it shifts hard from 1-2 and if I have sand or mud on the tires or it's wet it'll break the rear loose... I have the 4l60 pre electronic I think it's a 92... but I'd like to get some more power out of it!!

The kit doesn`t claim to boost line pressure, but it must, it claims to be good for 900HP! says it right in the instructions! I have cruised around previously with the pump cranked to max, and it doesn`t shift as hard as that so should be good... I`m not worried, It only required oversizing 3 holes or something, it was mostly spring and spool changes....

Please dont sell the 51'! That truck is too nice to let go. If you sell it, you will only reget it later on.
