| yukon stalls My 2007 yukon stalls accelerating after stops. And it occassionaly stalls when idling. I've already changed the battery and alternator. Need help on finding the problem or problems. Local dealership could not find anything wrong. |

| Did the stealership scan for or did they try to pull codes? Does it do this everything or just when cold/hot? How could they not find anything wrong if it always does it? I would check sensors and vacuum lines... |

| Isn't it still under warranty? I'd try a different dealer.

| I believe the dealership pulled for codes. It usually stalls when hot. Its 5.3L with 19,000 miles. Will have the fuel filter changed but I dont think this may be the problem. |

| checking codes is for autozone. the dealer should be doing a full scan checking the actual sensor readings

| All I know is that the dealership told me that they checked "everything" out and found no problem. I dont have much faith in that dealership. |

| I also noticed that the rpms are lower than 1 when in gear and I have my foot on the brake. Occassionally, the rpms lower a bit and go back to a half to quarter rpm. I dont know if this is normal. |

| rpms should be lower than a 1000 when put in gear. should be close to the 500-600 mark depending on engine and make model year. in park, they will run 700 to 850. maybe a little more depending out ambient and internal temperature. |
