92 gmc dies when put into gear

I have a 92 GMC 1500, with a 305, 179,000 miles

This al started, i was driving, pulled up to a light, and died, wouldnt start, no fuel.
Replaced the fuel pump, and filter, and i seemed to run fine. about 2 weeks later it started doing it again.

i have replaced the fuel pump twice, the filter, both injectors, pressure regulator, idle air control motor. it starts and idles fine, but as soon as i put it in gear, the fuel shuts off ( watched the fuel spray stop). and it then will not start at all unless you dump gas into the carb (prime) . then it will idle fine till i put it into gear.

im at a total loss what to do now. any help appreciated

Have you tried a scan? sounds like a sensor is weak and not giving the ecm a signal. How long do you let it idle (is it warmed up) before putting in gear?
