| I have a TBI but if I were going to get another engine I would up-grade to a 5.3 or a 6.0 you can get a lot of power out of them engines my brother started with a 88 Mustang with a 5.0 but once he messed with it enough and seen that almost stock with a tune can take a 5.0 Mustang he went with GM instead. And the thing about TBI you can only go so high up on getting a cam to work correct one can't just buy a big cam and slap it in an engine it all has to match with other engine parts to get the most out of it or it won't run good and you will lose a lot on money like that. BUT I have got my 5.7 TBI set up to get and hang with some big boys not long ago I beat my buddies sons 2008 5.3 engine of coarse his engine was all stock and didn't even have a tune yet. |
