| Ok so when i was pulling into the shop my brake line bursts... So i do some investing and find out it is inbetween the master cyclinder and the (praportioner) for the front brakes... so to make a really long story short... i used 1/4'' brake line for the front and 7/16'' for the rear... is that going to be a issue because the line size is so big... or should the praportioner take care of all that... i have been driving it for 2 days now and put about a 100 miles on it and brakes feel good havn't lost any fluid and the brake light is not on... .... Just seeing if you guys know if something terrible can happen from doing what i just did...![]()

| Since you increased both sizes proportionally I would think it would work. But and there is always a But. the line sizes, and master reservoir are all proportional therefore as long as the volume is sufficient as the shoes and pads wear it will probably work

| if you didn't replace all the rubber hose brake lines , yes there will be a problem , remember in ohio they use road salt on everything . and salt likes rubber as well as metal . shd |

| oh yeah salt is awesome. but i bought this truck for $500 and i dont worry about when its going to break down next cause its often enough to not worry about proventitive repairs. dont get me wrong i love my truck i just fix what breaks (if it aint broke dont fix it) i live by that rule. but you are right its only a matter of time till the rubber bursts and i am doing this all over again..
