Heads

Would these heads work or be better on my 1993 F/S 5.7 GMC truck? Or am I better off just staying with what I have plus then if I rebuilt the heads then it might start burning oil due to more compression. OK I forgot to mention it's a make offer deal.
Thanks! GMC

2.02 and 1.60 valves, high lift springs, screw in studs, and guideplates drilled and tapped for late model a/c needs one 2.02 valve, big performance increase. also comes with headers for chevy truck.

depends on the cc of the head if it will build compression. if it is bigger than what you have it will lower compression....

They will work on you motor, but they might not be better.

aftermarket heads?? are they regular heads?? ported?? decked?? as john mentioned, are they 68cc, 72cc?? seems to be missing alot of info about the heads. cant use some heads out there as some have angled intake bolt holes. forget what they are called.

Dumb question why do you want to do it are yours bad? a cam is worth its money and a little less work. either way if i pulled it down it would get a mild economy cam,. lifters, and double roller chain

All I have is the info I wrote and I know that replacing the cam will help but I know that I have very little to choose from because of year and it's a TBI engine oh my heads are good it's just that I was thinking of getting a lot of HP for a cheap amount of money. But then my truck won't run like it does now and so on it's probably better if I leave it alone but I would love to get a 5.3 engine in it.

get the numbers off the head , do research , it sounds like they might be early fullie heads . if you want alot of difference on the cheap side do a cam swap along with heaters and a true duel exgaust , along with under-drive pullys . i would never put unknown heads on my truck without knowing everthing about them period .
