radiator

I have a big hole in my radiator and was wondering about any quick fixes. I dont have the money right now to buy a new or used radiator but will when i do. Just need something to get it back on the road for awhile.

this all boils down to how big of a hole. if this is something too big for bars stop leak, try using quiksteel. comes in a tube that you cut. knead it together to start the chemical process and put it on. it WILL hold together.

Bradrhale is right, that quiksteel is great stuff... depending on the size of the hole. I used it on a few spots on my 4 wheeler and it takes the abuse. Just make sure the surface is good and clean before you use it.

Brad and Leo are correct you can have those lines by passed or plugged up and it should be fine if you don't block too many lines.

Its only 3 lines and they are pretty good sizes holes. I had a friend of mine tell me to use jb weld but that guy likes to half *** everything so I wanted other opinions. thanks for all the tips.

JB weld is a good product and have had several projects work out as long as you use the correct product. can you solder the holes?

please dont take this the wrong way but most quick fixes like what you are talking about are rig jobs. stuff like jb weld or quiksteel works great for the inteded use of getting to the nearest place to fix it instead of on the roadside. i have made a car run with a pencil and paper towel before.
the radiator is not going to costs you an arm and leg. why not go ahead and get a new one with a warranty and never worry about it again?? the soldering idea is a great idea for long term use. i dont think a soldering gun will do much good for repairing large holes though. imagine they were referring to using a soldering torch.
