Question What spark plug to use?

So took a plug out of my 96 7.4 Vortec engine, it is a NGK TR55GP which is their fine point platinum plug, is this the plug to use, or what is better out there?
I am trying to add a couple pictures of the ends.

i have always had good luck with regular good plugs. those higher end platinums are a bit of a waste if you dont have a higher end ignition system to put out the fire. but this is just one persons opinion.

I run NGK+ plugs on my GMC and if you think those plugs are worn you should have seen mine good thing I have all MSD on my truck maybe that's why it still ran good. Now after I placed the new plugs on I still got the same gas mileage I was thinking it was going to drop since it had a bigger gap which meant more spark.

I was wondering if they were worn, they have I thought a fair amount of material on them.

Should I change them?
